One of the biggest/most creative bitsies i've seen (i didn't see a lot of them, as you can probably tell)

Thanks Noli, glad you enjoyed my game! it was fun to make!

wow, that concept is amazing, love that background is so colorful, didnt know this theme is mixed of detective and seafolk. haha still loved it β€œthumbs up”

thanks Darkos! I appreciate your comments πŸ‘

Thanks for the game!

The sound effects are fun, and I liked how goofy the story ends. I also liked exploring some of the areas - especially caves.

With that said, the game's so lush with colorful detail, that I had some troubles finding points of interest sometimes. Pointing arrows helped, but they somewhat took away from the exploration. Also, sometimes it's not clear what tiles are passable and what aren't.

Thanks for the comments and feedback Valeriy! Much appreciated, I’m glad you liked my game. Yes I did wonder about that some sand tiles have collisions. I will be mindful of the how clearly passable tiles read in my next adventure! I like cave levels to! Hope we have a cave related theme in next Bitsy game jam! πŸ‘

Oh, caves would be perfect for the next jam! We should definitely pitch this theme

Agreed! ;-)

awesome game! this tiny world is very well done, maybe a bit much dithering but in the end it ties things together. maybe add animations on people? and the world is so nice l would have pictured some light music too! rrally good job ! glad l didnt have to do the paperwork ingame lol

Thank you @Continew! Good points! Yes animation adds a lot & I’ll defo do music on my next game. Yeah paperwork in game would be a drag! (...or would it be awesome!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰ see what the next Bitsy jam theme is!)

Best Fanta ad I’ve ever seen.

Graphics are wonderful and voices add to the humour and ambiance. Some simple music would be a welcome addition to add to the atmosphere and liveliness of the world.

Not sure if intended, but there are collisions on one or two sand tiles in front of the sea monument.

You really nailed the retro feeling of the ZX Spectrum aesthetic with this.

thank you for your feedback Aeter, much appreciated! Those towns folk love their Fanta!
